NWDE or Nation-wide Dental Excellence is a renowned name in the USA. As famous as they are, NWDE wanted to do something revolutionary in the field of dental treatment, which will benefit hundreds of patients across the country. They came to us with a requirement of a unique solution that will enlist contacts and details of all dentists in USA. They wanted the application to be user-friendly and simple. As inclined we are to create change, our teams of design engineers and technology experts went ahead to take up the challenge and create an out of the box solution for this client.

Solution:

We did what we could have done the best; we developed an application for them, which was an all inclusive data storehouse. We presented the client a regularly upgradable dentist database. The solution was not only class apart in terms of technicalities but also design. The user experience enriched for working on excellent UI for searching a dentist in his/her nearby location. The dentists from across the country could log in to the site with various membership packages and add/update their services & products as well as their profiles. The application also incorporates a complete e-Commerce package with recurring billing and payment system developed from scratch. We have also built an advertisement package where ads are displayed as per the search criteria.

Precisely, we made it everything expected of a database website. We are happy that we could contribute our share to the make NWDE’s effort a success.

Overview:

Who won’t love to go tailgating with friends and having a time to remember! But it doesn’t make sense if friends are not together to go tailgating. Probably our client understood the importance of friends who make every tailgating plan a success… the reason he came to us. He asked us to help him build an application that can help the football fans in Oxford to track their fellow tailgaters, every time they want.

Solution:

We were quite interested with the concept and decided to build an innovative system for the client, which will not only allow users to find out the position of their friends tailgating but also tag them. We designed an interesting UI for the users and Google Map APIs were integrated to enable mapping of tailgaters.

“The Grove”, which is a 12-acre tract of land, acts as a main tailgating spot for football fans in Oxford, Mississippi was totally brought on the home page where users can login and create their positions. This project is an interactive, map-based application in which people can navigate to the site and use it to find where specific tailgaters have placed their tents.

The product turned out to be a huge success and users actually referred to it before planning their tailgating trips.

It was a normal day that this client came to us with his requirement of a “GeoSocial” web application. It was quite a unique concept to work on as till now we had not worked on anything similar. The catch of the site was to be the feature that will enable users to create their virtual address on Google Maps.

Spice digital Limited, one of the most famous names in the Indian telecom industry, took up a new venture of developing desktop entertainment application for its customers, for the first time ever in India…a one-stop kiosk for all entertainment needs and requirements of a mobile user.

Spice Digital came to us for a comprehensive software solution to formulate their concept into a running system. We comprehended their requirements as an entertainment kiosk that they are planning to put at different locations in Indian cities. We suggested them a feasible solution and named it Spice Kiosk Application…a complete entertainment solution for users.

This report is presented in Graphs and Dashboards for easy comprehension by an ASP.Net web application. The application has a complete CMS, which helps to add, modify and remove contents and features. This also helps in managing the other data stored in the system.

Security:

While developing this application, we have also taken care of extensive security of the entire system. The kiosk security system deals with the following issues:

External Hard drive: No user will be able to use the system by plugging in external hard drives like keyboards, monitor or mouse.

Secure files: The files are completely secure and no user can delete or rename the files. Also, no one can add new functions and files to the system.

Operating system: The touch screen graphical interface and the kiosk system are independent and leave no chance for the user to know what operating system in running behind the interface.

Features: The features and their functions are completely secure and no one can use them without going through the required procedure for it. For instance, no one can play games, download songs or add themes without registering into the system.

5. Eavesdrop

Overview:

Eavesdrops is one of the strongest projects we have ever worked on. Eavesdrop is a very strong tool based on NLP (Natural Language processing) and AI(Artificial Intelligence). With this tool one can analyze consumer generated media. This tool uses NLP technology (POS tagger, parser, NE , Orthomatcher, Wordnet). We have tried to solve big problems like Anaphora resolutions using Machine learning techniques like Hidden Markov model and CRF. The tool uses Gate Framework.

We have also built a Desktop version called Dipstick version for the client’s marketing team to display the power of Eavesdrop.

Solution:

To put it simply, we have built a real time analysis tool for English text blogs and posts over internet for a product. An excel workbook or an access database file works as an input for this application. The application modifies posts into proper English sentences by applying spell check, anaphora resolution, cleaning, filtering, synonyms clubbing, pruning phrases, removing useless/stop words, applying JAPE rules, etc. The applications uses open source JAVA API on NLP named ‘GATE’ (General Architecture of Text Engineering) for these functions. Once all posts are manipulated and converted into multiple short meaningful phrases/quotes, the application shows tag cloud of those quotes based on their frequencies. When all quotes are marked as negative and positive, an attractive eavesdrops/colorful graph emerges using a flash component that presents a real time analytics for that particular product.

We love to work on anything that has a fun quotient to get us going through all the overtime and hard work and that was the reason why we jumped at the opportunity to work on Nitrorocks. The requirement was that of a social networking website for musicians and music lovers throughout the world. Nitrorocks Inc. wanted it to be an all-inclusive social networking portal that not only will have all features of a networking website but also point of interest for the music lovers. Like any other social networking website, this site was required to have extensive artist profiles and tools to share, comment, and a common platform for users to spread message.

Solution:

We created a social networking site with music and videos theme. We incorporated in it features to invite various singers, performers and bands to sign up for a free account. The basic function of the solutions is to allow uploading songs and videos to the website for general viewing. The video and audio files can be uploaded in various formats. All the formats are converted to FLV (video) and MP3 (audio). These files are then played on the website on Flash based players. The USP of the application is its scalable file upload and conversion server architecture.

The application uses different servers as web server, upload server, conversion server, media server and flash server. This multiple server architecture creates a robust system to handle heavy traffic on the site. Apart from this, the application provides all the standard features on a social networking site like friends, messaging, favorites, etc. It also provides an online store for purchasing of compilations and CDs. It is backed by payment through PayPal. It also provides functionality for admin to put information about upcoming tours, shows and events. The client was very impressed with the whiteboard that we had developed for ourselves. Being part of the learning industry he realized the potential that this whiteboard had in transforming the way teachers and students communicate. The client, by all means wanted to use the whiteboard and add to the ever growing e-learning industry. To cater to his requirements, we came up with an idea that we named ‘tutorandmentor’.

Solution:

We decided to build a common platform for the client that can make interaction and communication between students and teachers smooth and easy. Also, we had to keep in mind that the client had specially requested for the whiteboard application. We developed a solution that enabled sessions between students and teachers, arranged depending upon their availability.

The catch of the solution was however, the whiteboard that will enable the tutor to interact with the student sharing the application. The web application also incorporated a payment system integrated with PayPal for transfer of funds between the students and the web admin and various tutors. The site has an admin section that helps create a weekly timetable for the tutors depending on their availability.

Overview:

Reflective Medical collects the unaltered information concerning provider identification, pricing and outcomes data from the claims bills submitted by the providers themselves. This information is uploaded in the system from the raw data that is collected from different insurance companies.

The main challenge in this project is the database where lots of data is getting uploaded regularly and we need to ensure that fetching user specific information and searches in the website are quick. For that we need to send data from raw tables to normalized ones.

It is a website based on health insurance. There is a public area where a user can search for providers (doctors), procedures and drugs in their vicinity. Also there is a secure area where a user can login and get all the information about his medical claims, his doctors, his procedures, his diagnoses, etc.
